JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible to lead team consists of 70 more employees (4 lines)
Supervise daily production activities to ensure target output, quality, and efficiency are met.
Communicate daily targets/goals to Team Leaders (TL’s) and monitor performance/address any deviations in areas such as material consumption and performance to plan in order to achieve daily/ weekly/monthly targets.
Support the Team Leader in handling abnormalities by doing data-based problem solving using 5-why and 8-step thinking and seek assistance from support teams as and when required.
Work with other processes in the value stream such as - (New product integration & QCO, Cutting & Raw Material, Technical & Quality, Engineering etc.) in order to anticipate and address issues that can impact the smooth flow of the value stream/ production process.
Be a representative as the first level of HR support by assisting in new Team Member selection and orientation and by attending to the following duties (Leave approval, Absenteeism management, conducting performance evaluations of both TL & TM, Planning/managing TL/TM skill development.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and workplace safety standards.
Provide coaching, motivation, and discipline to production operators to achieve performance goals.
